Privacy Policy

About this policy

WisBridge is made by Ning Lin and distributed worldwide through the Apple App Store. This page explains how your information is handled in plain language.

This policy follows applicable data protection laws, including China's PIPL, the EU's GDPR, and Apple's App Store guidelines.

What we actually handle

When you contact support, we receive whatever you choose to share: your email (optional), the product and issue type, your OS and app version, and your message. This is saved on our server so we can reply to you.

Our web server keeps standard logs (IP address, timestamp, which page was visited) for security and troubleshooting. These are not used for tracking anyone.

Our admin panel uses a single session cookie to keep the administrator logged in. That is the only cookie we set. No tracking scripts, no analytics, no ad tech.

One thing we want to be very clear about: WisBridge runs entirely on your local network. We cannot see your screen, hear your audio, read your keystrokes, access your clipboard, or touch your files. We do not have your Mac password, your Apple ID, or your payment information. None of that ever leaves your devices.

Who else is involved

Our website is hosted by a third-party provider, which processes server logs as part of normal operations.

All purchases and subscriptions go through Apple. We do not receive or store payment information.

That is the full list. No analytics, no advertising networks, no trackers.

Your rights

You have rights over your personal data under laws like PIPL, GDPR, and CCPA — including the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict how it is used. To exercise any of these, email support@wislie.com.

We will confirm your identity before acting on any request and respond within the time the law requires. If we cannot fulfill a request, we will explain why.

How long we keep things

We keep support tickets as long as needed to help you. You can ask us to delete your data. Server logs rotate on a standard schedule.

Children

WisBridge is not made for children under 13 (or the age defined by your local laws). We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will post the new version here. Using WisBridge after a change means you are okay with it.
