Terms of Service
Last updated: August 18, 2026
Welcome
Thanks for using WisBridge. By using the app or visiting our website, you agree to these terms — they are here to keep things clear and fair for everyone.
What WisBridge is
WisBridge lets you control one Mac from another over your local network. Viewer (the controlling app) comes from the App Store. Host (the software on the Mac you control) is a free download from wisbridge.wislie.com.
Everything happens directly between your devices. Nothing passes through our server.
A few common-sense rules
Please only use WisBridge on devices you own or have permission to control. Do not access someone else's device without their knowledge.
You are responsible for keeping your Mac credentials safe and for backing up your data. Remote access is powerful — please use it carefully.
Get the software only from official sources: the App Store for Viewer, wisbridge.wislie.com for Host. Please do not reverse-engineer or redistribute the software.
Content and lawful use
WisBridge only mirrors a Host that you own or are authorised to control; it does not provide third-party content or grant you rights to use it. You may display, record, copy, transfer, or otherwise use content through a Host only when you own it or have the rights, permissions, or legal basis required for that use.
You are responsible for complying with the applicable terms, licences, and laws for content, software, and services used on a Host. Do not use WisBridge to bypass digital rights management, geographic restrictions, paywalls, or other access controls, or to share material unlawfully.
Purchases
WisBridge may offer Lite and Pro purchase options, subscriptions, lifetime purchases, trials, free allowances, or promotional access. The options, features, availability, and price shown in the App Store and in the app at the time of purchase govern that transaction and may change for future releases or storefronts.
All purchases, subscriptions, and refunds are handled by Apple through the App Store. We do not process payments or store billing data. If you have a billing question, Apple Support is the right place to go.
Intellectual property
WisBridge — the name, logo, app, website, and documentation — belongs to Ning Lin. Please do not copy or redistribute without permission. Third-party components remain subject to their applicable notices and licences.
How we handle responsibility
WisBridge is built and maintained by an independent developer. It is provided as-is, without warranties of any kind. We strive to make it reliable, but we cannot guarantee it will work perfectly in every setup or configuration.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for damages from using or being unable to use WisBridge — including data loss, device issues, lost profits, or business interruption. Please keep backups of anything important.
Where the law does not permit a full exclusion, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for WisBridge in the twelve months before any claim.
If there is ever a problem
These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. If a dispute arises, the courts of the developer's place of residence have jurisdiction.
Before anything formal, please reach out to support@wislie.com.
Where local law gives you rights that cannot be waived, those rights remain yours. Apple is not a party to this agreement.
Updates
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted here. Continuing to use WisBridge after an update means you accept the new terms.
